Elsa manages Flamingo Chicks’ Agents of Change Programme. A youth advocacy board who represent their peers, lead our organisation and campaign for a fair future for disabled children. The Agents of Change programme and its sessions are underpinned by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This three-year project aims to strengthen youth participation by co-creating a comprehensive framework with young people. Through this, we’ll ensure that their voices are embedded in every aspect of our work, empowering them to help shape the future of our organisation.

Elsa is head of social media and community outreach at Petty Son and Prestwich, an estate agents based in East London.

This includes content creation and coordinating sponsorships and support for the local community through the business.

In July 2024, the Diana Award published their first insight report on Youth Voice in Politics, which Elsa was a peer researcher on.

This involved hosting focus groups and writing findings in detail for the final report, as well as presenting at an MP event to launch it.

Mind’s Youth Voice Network exist to give young people a say in their work. Currently with 3,000 members, Elsa has been a part of the lived-experience network since 2020.

FREEDOM2 is an East London and Essex based charity who provide creative workshops for teenage girls to support their well-being and know their worth.

Elsa has been a trustee since 2020.

Founded by Elsa and local business owner Mark Mountney in 2018, this initiative aims to support those in need locally and promote the power of kind acts to people’s lives.
