We work mighty hard to make it possible, and wow did we make it happen this year. So proud of every single person who’s been a part of it this year. It’s been gorgeous working with you all ❤️ This year was also special because we became a CIC (Community Interest Company), for which I now sit on the board of directors 🥳 so big things coming. watch out 2026. My Life My Say are a youth-led, non-partisan movement on a mission to encourage young people to participate in democracy, and get every single young person voting. I was honoured to speak on a panel at the @dianaaward’s Wellbeing Through Social Action event today, held in partnership with @servicenow , and joined by Prince Harry. It was inspiring to sit alongside @lottie.leach, @idorenyinhopex, and @dan_lawes, as we explored how we can help shape the future of youth well-being together. Have found my experiences of depersonalisation and realisation quite distressing this year, and have been resistant to explain it to people for fear of judgement. But talking about it is the best way to remove the stigma. So here’s my first go at getting it on more people’s radars 🫶x

I’ve been super lucky to have spent seven weeks co-facilitating at @engage.here this summer 🫶. July saw the end of my time as an @dianaaward Young Advisor. After 3 years the project has come to a close, and I couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of shaping the future of The Diana Award. This role was one of the best youth engagement opportunities I’ve been a part of, giving us all the chance to facilitate, conduct internal research, write reports, manage focus groups, shadow staff, receive invaluable mentorship and so much more. Most importantly, we’ve been valued and supported every step of the way❤️. We’ve closed this phase of the project by launching our Youth Voice Charter, which is now live on the @dianaaward website, for all charities and organisations involving youth voice to use as a template for their own practices. - Swipe to read about why we created it. I believe in every word we’ve shared in this charter. It’s been three years of hard work and passion to put all of our learnings into the resources we have now released, and I hope that organisations use this tool to elevate their own work.
